Import Rules
Import Requirements
The Wyoming Livestock Board regulates the importation of animals into Wyoming to protect animal health and prevent the spread of disease.
Import requirements vary depending on the species, purpose of movement, age, ownership status, and intended use of the animal. Requirements may include Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (CVIs), official identification, disease testing, vaccinations, permits, and additional documentation.
Review the general import requirements for each species by selecting “Species Import Requirements” in the Contents panel.
Import permits are no longer required unless otherwise noted on this site.
